CLASSIFIED SUPERVISORY/CERTIFICATED SUPERVISORY VACANCY: Behavioral Specialist **Current Gateway USD certificated employees must submit a request for consideration to the Director of Human Resources on or before the deadline. **Gateway USD certificated employees are welcome to submit an application packet on Edjoin. ***All verifiable years of service will be credited*** SALARY - Based on 196 work days $88,797 - $107,933 Master Degree Stipend - $1,500 Doctorate Degree Stipend - $1,500 Includes contribution to a retirement system and access to health, dental, and vision benefits with District contribution. ***Special qualifications including knowledge, skills & abilities: - Support School-Wide Behavior Intervention Systems/MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) teams and initiatives. - Provides training for staff focusing on crisis de-escalation techniques and interventions. - Provides hands-on training within 1:1 and/or group sessions as needed for effective modeling and demonstration of recommended strategies to behavioral support staff and/or classroom/school staff as appropriate. Applicant MUST POSSESS one or more of the following: - An appropriate California Pupil Personnel Services Credential - School Psychology or School Social Work - A valid California Teaching Credential - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). - Three (3) years of experience in the field of special education, counseling, and or as a psychologist - Four (4) years of successful experience preferred. Documentation of these requirements MUST accompany the application. PROCEDURE: The selection process will include an appraisal of individual applications and personal resumes. Candidates receiving the highest ratings will be selected for interview. (Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted).
