Position Title: RN, Operating Room Circulator
Reports to: Operating Room Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: Gateway Surgery Center is seeking a full time OR Circulating Nurse to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals. Gateway Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art, busy ambulatory surgery center. We specialize in opthalmic and facial plastics. This candidate will be joining a surgery center with 4 operating rooms. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on multi-tasking, the ability to show flexibility in assignments and being focused on excellent patient care.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certificates/Eligibility: Current State R.N. license and BCLS required, ACLS preferred. Experience in OR preferred.
Eligibility: All employees must be able to provide proof of their identity and their right to work in the United States.
Skills/Knowledge/Ability: IV skills preferred.
Interpersonal: Actively participates in the development of a healthy work environment. Uses interpersonal skills to establish and maintain healthy interpersonal relations which include functional trust, positive feedback, and constructive criticism. Good communication skills: oral and written.
Critical Thinking: Ability to make sound nursing judgement based on nursing theory. Demonstrates primary nurse accountability through coordination, communication, and continuity of patient care. Must be able to assess, prioritize, plan and implement direct patient care.
Knowledge: Working knowledge and experience in Operating Room from hospital or ambulatory surgery center including direct patient care prefered. Ability to adhere to work schedule and manage time appropriately. Ability to utilize resources in a timely, organized and cost effective manner.
MACHINES, EQUIPMENT, WORK AIDES: Computer, telephone. Knowledge of patient monitoring equipment.

Pay: $37.00 - $41.00 per hour
