Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and standards while maintaining food safety and sanitation protocols
• Operate POS systems such as Square POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen station, and food preparation zones through regular bussing and sanitation practices
• Manage cash register operations accurately, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
• Assist in food stocking, inventory management, and ensuring all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations
• Support team members during busy periods by multitasking effectively in food preparation, serving, and cashier duties

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and create positive guest interactions
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively
• Experience with kitchen tasks like food preparation or culinary work is advantageous but not mandatory
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
