What are the responsibilities and job description for the PART-TIME WEEKEND Residential Youth Care Worker position at Gateway Residential Program?
Gateway Residential in Delta is looking for a part-time weekend direct-care professional to join our team in working with adolescent males for weekend shifts.
The vision of Gateway is for all youth served to recognize their inherent value, reach their potential, and become positive participants in society.
This is a professional position and qualified staff will supervise youth at all times, teach new skills and help struggling youth co-regulate, support with crisis intervention and de-escalation, assist with independent living skills, teach pro-social tools and behaviors, and create a positive environment to foster change. GRS is looking for candidates who are committed to providing compassionate care, bringing a positive attitude to work, and creating safety and healthy relationships with the youth in care. Please note: While this is a part-time position, there are often opportunities to move into full-time hours if that is desired.
Compensation: $18/hour - There are opportunities for overtime and a quarterly bonus structure is in place for bonuses (of up to $1000/quarter for full-time and up to $500 for part-time direct care staff) .
Training provided: Colorado QMAP, 1st Aid/CPR, CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, & Job Specific.
All applicants must be at least 21 years of age. To qualify, applicants need either 2 years of college or a high school diploma plus two years of human service experience. All positions require background checks. All job-related training is paid.
