QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current state licensure as a registered or practical nurse. Two years’ experience in nursing field preferred. Must be skilled and physically able to perform necessary medical interventions when needed. Must demonstrate the good judgement, decision making and leadership skills necessary to take responsibility for nursing-related patient care.

Essential Functions:
- Administers medications.
- Carries out prescribed therapeutic treatments.
- Documents nursing observations and patient care rendered.
- Participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care.
- Intervenes in crises and other emergency situations and provides admission phone triage.
- Coordinates with all GRC departments as appropriate.
- Provides patient health education.
- Completes employee health duties.
- Intervenes in crises for all GRC departments during off hours.
