What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Marketplace Attendant - Washington, PA position at Gateway Rehabilitation Center?
Gateway Rehab has a dynamic opening at our Greenbriar, Washington, PA location for a part-time Marketplace Attendant who is responsible for operating the Gateway Marketplace, conducting PAC, and Marketplace financial business. This position reports to the Marketplace Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains inventory in the Marketplace.
- Greets customers as they enter the Marketplace and assist the customer with merchandise selection.
- Maintains the store’s inventory, through purchasing and stocking, sufficient in volume and variety to meet the customer’s needs.
- Assists in merchandising functions including display and merchandise pricing.
- Assists in non-cash handling functions utilizing the POS (Point of Sale) system and daily reporting when necessary.
- Retrieve patient balances utilizing the patient access card (PAC) system.
- Assists in maintaining inventory in line with sales for month end.
- Recognize and monitor security issues.
- Assures that the Marketplace’s attractiveness by keeping the area clean and tidy; dusting and organizing displays.
- Maintains the daily operation of the Marketplace within the assigned guidelines and retail operating procedures.
- Depending on location, prepares cash deposits for new patient’s and cash drop offs.

Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer Service experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Pass a PA Criminal Background Check
- Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Clearances
- Pass Drug Screen
- TB Test

- Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center
- Mental demands include balancing purchases with sales.
