- Interpret and analyze blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine project layout, required dimensions, and materials.
- Removing damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace.
- Inspect, Install, and repair ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.
- Read plans and frame structure accordingly.
- Lead in layout with joists, walls, trusses.
- Must be able to precisely measure, cut, and assemble the framing lumber needed to build custom residential houses.
- Preferred to have completed all state-required classes and apprentice work, and possess a journeyman’s card
- Oversees all phases of project completion.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
