Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Loan Originator at Gateway Mortgage, located along the Grand Strand SC, with the potential for some work-from-home flexibility. The Loan Originator will be responsible for assisting clients with securing home loans tailored to their financial needs and goals. Daily tasks include consulting with potential borrowers, evaluating financial profiles, working with underwriting processes, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The role also requires fostering strong professional relationships to support both new and repeat clients throughout the loan process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Loan Origination and expertise with Mortgages
- Knowledge of Underwriting principles and processes
- Understanding of Finance and Loans industry standards
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze financial information and recommend appropriate loan products
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for lending practices
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
