Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guestrooms and common areas, including changing bedsheets, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing hardwood floors, and maintaining tile surfaces to ensure they remain spotless and well-maintained.
• Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed meticulously, including waste disposal and disinfecting high-touch areas to promote health and safety.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally.
• Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to management.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely.
• Experience with laundry operations and housekeeping schedules is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards or hospitality industry experience is a plus.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
