We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours. You will ensure that the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and inviting while assisting guests with their needs. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a strong focus on customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all food items are displayed attractively and at the appropriate temperatures.
- Assist guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any inquiries or requests they may have.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards.
- Perform food preparation tasks such as cooking, meal preparation, and food handling as needed.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while demonstrating proper knife skills and cooking techniques.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Support other team members by bussing tables, cleaning dishes, and assisting with catering or banquet services when required.
- Ensure all food items are replenished throughout service hours to provide an excellent guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience or food service background is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and communication.
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or catering is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper cleaning techniques.
