Manufacturing company is hiring a Quality Manager to support a growing steel manufacturing facility in Clinton, IL.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building and leading the plant’s quality function, with a focus on driving continuous improvement, compliance, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all aspects of plant quality, including systems, compliance, and inspections
- Develop and maintain ISO/AISC quality programs
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions across operations
- Partner cross-functionally with production, engineering, and leadership teams
- Identify risks and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC)
- Manage and develop a team of quality inspectors and ensure full shift coverage
- Train personnel on quality standards, procedures, and measurement tools
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of experience in a steel or metals manufacturing environment
- 5 years leading quality teams
- Experience with ISO and/or AISC quality systems
- Strong understanding of welding, fabrication, and inspection processes
- Exposure to Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods (UT, MT, VT) highly preferred
- CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification strongly preferred
