Mortgage Servicing Operations Analyst I JOB SUMMARY:
The Servicing Operations Analyst I is responsible for creating metrics and reports for management. Executes initiatives from department head to drive positive results. With lines of business, assesses business functions to identify areas of improvement.
Mortgage Servicing Operations Analyst I ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
* Works with line of business to develop new letters and maintain a letter library of existing letters.
* Utilizes SQL to perform continuous analysis of the state of servicing to identify potential risks.
* Creates and runs standard and ad hoc reports.
* Creates and runs standard and ad hoc reports.
* Runs, and maintains business automation scripts in Mortgage Servicing Service Bureau.
* Tracks data as needed to generate and automate specialized reports.
* Reports metrics for reporting purposes of tracking performance and recommends improvement for areas where the line of business is not in line with industry averages/standards.
* Manipulates data using spreadsheet, Power Bi, or database applications considering technical knowledge of operations, reporting formats, and objectives of data analysis.
* Maintains dashboards in Power Bi including daily, weekly and monthly metrics reviews.
* Investigates, analyzes and corrects discrepancies as well as provides feedback on data analysis and provides recommendations for review by management.
* Analyzes datasets from multiple sources to conduct root-cause analysis and recommends potential solutions to management.
* Analyzes performance volumes and patterns, reports forecast and actual performance for lines of business.
* Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.
