Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Siding Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with experience in various installation techniques. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. The Carpenter / Siding Installer will be responsible for performing installations and collaborating with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Duties
- Install siding materials on residential and commercial buildings according to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Perform carpentry work including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and restoration projects.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing, masonry, and roofing as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide maintenance person services including caulking, bending coil stock, cutting siding, and installing siding.
- General carpentry including but not limited to framing, siding, demo, windows and decks.
Skills
- Experienced with hand tools, power tools, and various construction techniques.
- Knowledgeable in siding installation, general carpentry, soffit, facia, windows, doors, and decks.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in fabrication tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.
