Role Description
The Director of Rooms at Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa will oversee the daily operations of the rooms division, ensuring high-quality guest experiences, operational efficiency, and team motivation. Responsibilities include managing guest satisfaction, coordinating reservations, supervising housekeeping and laundry services, and ensuring budget and financial objectives are met. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gateway, CO, providing the opportunity to work in one of the most breathtaking locations in Western Colorado.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Guest Satisfaction and Customer Service to ensure exceptional guest experiences and address any concerns effectively.
- Experience in managing Laundry services, Housekeeping, and operational oversight to maintain cleanliness and standards across the rooms department.
- Knowledge of Reservations management to oversee room bookings and optimize occupancy rates
- Proficiency in Budgeting and finance management to oversee department expenses and ensure financial goals are achieved.
- Proven leadership and team management skills to inspire and guide the rooms division staff effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills to handle day-to-day operational challenges in a high-end hospitality setting.
- Hospitality management experience, particularly in a luxury resort environment, is preferred.
