Gateway Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager to join our team. Duties include managing an existing portfolio of commercial loans, focusing on client relationships, loan covenant management, handling annual reviews, financial analysis, and loan renewals/extensions. Note: This is an on-site position. To be considered, you must be in the Phoenix metro area or willing to relocate.
Duties & responsibilities
- Proactively manage a portfolio of loans assigned to you, as well as assist with managing the entire loan portfolio
- Monitor loan performance, track covenants, manage past-due items, and assess client/industry risks, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations
- Serve as a contact for customers, manage relationship continuity, and identify cross-selling opportunities for other bank products
- Analyze financial statements, prepare credit memos, and support lenders with credit requests and due diligence
- Ensure adherence to all State and Federal regulations, bank policies, and loan documentation standards
Skills & Qualifications
- 2-3 years working for a commercial bank
- Strong background in credit analysis, commercial banking, and financial statement analysis
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of credit risk and loan documentation
Salary Range
$70,000-80,000/year, depending on experience
