What to Expect
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Versailles location, you will be an Engineering Intern
- You will work closely with engineers, production staff, maintenance teams, and quality personnel to better understand how manufacturing systems operate and how improvements are implemented.
- This role provides valuable exposure to PLCs, robotics, electric systems, machine design, tooling design and project execution.
Keys to Success
- Assist engineers in troubleshooting equipment issues to improve reliability and uptime.
- Participate in process observations and collect data to support engineering decision-making.
- Help identify improvement opportunities in processes, workflow, or equipment performance.
- Assist with basic programming or testing of PLCs, HMIs, robotics, servo systems, or VFDs
- Participate in experiments or testing efforts related to electrical/electronic components or automated equipment.
- Support process engineers in scrap and defect reduction projects.
- Work with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to learn how manufacturing systems operate.
- Basic machine design
- Basic tooling design
About You
- Currently pursing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Inventor 3D experience or other 3D software
- AutoCad experience
- PLC programming
- Robot programming
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Pay is $20.37 per hour
- Summer Internship May 2026-August 2026
