- Greet and tour prospective residents, qualify needs, and professionally present the community and available apartments
- Highlight apartment features, amenities, and benefits to support leasing goals
- Proactively manage leads, document tours, and complete leasing paperwork accurately and timely
- Review notices to vacate and make every reasonable effort to retain residents
- Answer incoming phone calls and in-person inquiries from prospects and residents
- Address resident questions, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Follow up with residents on completed maintenance requests to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a positive, service-oriented attitude and promote goodwill among residents, coworkers, vendors, and contractors
- Ensure the leasing office, tour routes, common areas, amenities, and model units are clean, organized, and tour-ready
- Walk vacant and rent-ready units to confirm availability and presentation standards
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections with residents
- Consistently implement and uphold community policies and procedures
- Stay informed on local market conditions and trends
- Share ideas with the Property Manager to improve marketing efforts and resident satisfaction
- Assist with planning and hosting resident events as directed
- Weekend availability is required, as most prospect tours occur on weekends
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build rapport quickly with prospects and residents
- Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail
- Two or more years of leasing experience
- Previous customer service, sales, or hospitality experience
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment
