Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Snack Bar Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of snacks and beverages. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will ensure that our customers have a delightful experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve snacks and beverages in accordance with food safety standards.
- Fill out order tickets with accurate and current information for charging of accounts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar area, and dining patio.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations to enhance their experience through upselling techniques.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
- Ability to input and read information from a POS system to make sure orders are accurate and timely.
Requirements
- Previous experience with customer service, and food service is a plus.
- Ability to read and write legibly and accurately to record and monitor orders and tickets.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills with patrons and members of staff.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
