Located in our downtown Denver office you will use analytical and quantitative methods to understand and diagnose the supply chain, predict what could happen, and develop recommendations to enhance and improve the efficiency of Supply Chain Operations.
Responsible for assembling and analyzing data and identifying problems from order placement, supply pipeline, transportation to delivery. Additionally, you will monitor current processes, identify gaps, and develop and implement process improvements. Initiate and drive projects necessary to address and resolve issues. Generates and maintains performance reports, dashboards, and other forms of communication to various levels of the organization for consumption of data and report findings.
This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be generating forward looking analysis on Capacity/Resources, Inventory, Demand fulfillment, Supply generation, and Backlog reduction!- This position is vital to Gates because you will be reviewing movement of materials in the supply chain to identify sources of problems and underperforming areas, review and develop/recommend ways to improve the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring and validating planning run health
- Master Data Parameters - plants, locations, resources, transportation lanes, products, restrictions
- Time - run time, horizons or periods covered - sales, WIP, forecast
- Demand Fulfillment - on time, late, unfulfilled, unplanned
- Supply Generation - inventory, work orders, production orders, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, transport/transfer orders, pegging lanes
- Supplying network tracking for resource/capacity, materials, routes, possible root cause of late supplies or shortages and unfulfilled demand

Analyzing Inventory, Supply and Demand patterns and trends
- Ability to mathematically and logically analyze and arrive at well thought conclusions on gaps and root cause; identify risks

Monitoring and auditing master data on a regular basis
- Establishing change management processes
- Managing, tracking, and reporting changes
- Conducting regular audit cadence

Preparing reports and maintain dashboards to provide reliable data on findings
- Designing and implementing methods to gather data, analyze, and report supply chain performance

Driving supply chain process improvement and optimization projects
- Reviewing current methodology and seek to improve all aspects of supply chain
- Initiating cross functional teams to address areas of improvement
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- In-depth understanding of supply chains with 5 years in S&OP, Supply Chain Planning, other related fields
- Data driven professional; experienced in strong data collection, analytics skills, and reporting
- Knowledgeable in interpreting and extracting actionable insights from the data collected
- Process improvement specialist
- Project management experience; ability to manage multiple projects
- Oracle and SAP ERP experience preferred
- Ability to understand IT and technical/manufacturing speak as it relates to the business
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
