We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, controlling access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to safety will help prevent incidents and respond swiftly when emergencies arise. Duties

• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activities by executing established emergency response procedures.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other significant events with clarity and accuracy.
• Enforce security policies and compliance with regulations while managing conflict de-escalation and conflict management techniques to handle difficult situations professionally.
• Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring collaboration or evidence collection.
• Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for patrol equipment or securing assets.
• Support customer service efforts by providing assistance and directions courteously while maintaining a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of security measures.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with emergency response procedures are essential. Not a requirement
• Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity.
• Excellent conflict de-escalation skills combined with effective conflict management abilities to maintain a calm environment under pressure.
• Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties including standing for long periods, manual handling, and heavy lifting tasks.
• Knowledge of compliance standards related to security regulations is crucial for success in this position.

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
