Gate Hill Day Camp is seeking caring & well skilled individuals to join our Aquatics Staff this summer. We are a family owned and operated, private day camp in Rockland County. We have been serving Westchester, Rockland, Manhattan, Orange & Bergen County families since 1951.

• Campers range from ages 3-15 years old.
• Summer 2026 Dates are M-F, June 29th - August 20th (July 3rd OFF).
• Hours 8:25-4:15 pm.
• Extra pay weekend dates available as well.
• Transportation options may be available from Westchester, Rockland, Manhattan, Orange & Bergen County if you get in touch with us quickly!

The Aquatics Staff of Gate Hill is an elite team of trained swim instructors & Red Cross certified lifeguards.

• Each are dedicated to the progression of every individual camper's swim ability, safety, & love for the water. Our facilities consist of a heated 4 pool complex, water slides, boating lake, splash park, & water wars areas.
• Current LGT Certification Required (on-site new or re-certification may be available to those who qualify - no fee for staff committed to working at GHDC for summer 2026)
• Swim instruction or swim team experience preferred, though not required. Also seeking WSI certified applicants. Great camp opportunities for parent-staff members and their family

Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,750.00 per month

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)
• Swim Instruction: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• WSI Certification (Preferred)
• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• Lifeguard Training (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Salary : $1,000 - $2,750
