Position Overview:
The Associate Physician Liaison plays a key role in establishing and growing referral relationships from the ground up. This position is responsible for building new and maintaining developing relationships with referring physicians, medical practices, and healthcare facilities to increase awareness of our services and drive referral growth. The role serves as a critical link between our organization and the external medical community and will help shape outreach strategies as the division grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand referral relationships within an assigned territory, serving as the primary point of contact for both new and existing referral sources.
- Promote services, physicians, and programs through in-person visits, calls, and digital outreach.
- Identify, prioritize, and engage prospective referral partners to build market presence.
- Schedule and conduct regular outreach visits to develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Gather market feedback and assist in identifying growth opportunities and referral trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, scheduling, and clinical departments, to ensure seamless referral and patient experience.
- Maintain accurate outreach and activity records using CRM or tracking tools.
- Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities.
- Support the development of outreach processes and special initiatives as the division grows.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Healthcare or customer-facing experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and work independently.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a growth-oriented, evolving environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
Performance Metrics:
Success in this role will be measured by territory development, relationship growth, outreach activity completion, and referral volume over time.
Tools and Systems:
Experience with CRM software, Electronic Health Records (EHR), and Practice Management (PM) systems is a plus. Training will be provided.
Compensation:
- Total compensation: $62,000 – $72,000 annually commensurate with experience and qualifications
