What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy - Riverdale MD position at Gastro Center of Maryland?
Additional Full Time or Part Time RN needed for established, busy and reputable Single Specialty ASCs/ Gastroenterology Endoscopy Centers in Maryland.
We are currently searching for a Registered Nurse who can work cooperatively with existing staff, nurses and physicians and perform a variety of duties. Major responsibilities include: prepares patients for procedures; start IVs (excellent IV skills preferred), provides care for patients in recovery and pre/post procedure phone calls. Gastroenterology Pre-op/PACU experience is preferred.
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current Maryland state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS.
