Gastro Center of Maryland has an opening for a Full-Time Patient Care Coordinator. Must have experience in a fast-paced medical environment. Must have exceptional customer service skills, excellent communication skills to schedule appointments, attention to detail and possess a good work ethic. The PCC is responsible for increasing customer satisfaction and retention by providing patients and providers with accurate, consistent, timely and meaningful information.
Description
Clinic is open from 7:30am-4:30pm EST Monday - Friday. Candidates need to available for in person work. This will be a full-time, 40 Hour Work Week position.
- Support patients and other callers primarily via phone, fax and email.
- Handle incoming calls in a prompt and professional manner
- Provide a memorable positive customer experience by identifying and understanding the needs of the caller.
- Demonstrate respect, sensitivity and understanding for the caller’s circumstance while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Schedule and reschedule appointments and procedures as needed.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with callers and coworkers/providers to provide necessary information
- Task providers as necessary to ensure the best possible care for patients.
- Prioritize and organize daily responsibilities
- Provide innovative ideas that can support the ongoing growth of the Gastro Center of Maryland
Providing accurate and consistent information
Preferred Experience:
- Customer Service experience required
- Experience working with EHR’s
- Customer focused team player with a passion for helping people.
- Strong PC proficiency with a willingness to learn new applications.
- Detail oriented, fast learner with excellent communication skills.
- Maintain confidentiality of personal health information (PHI)
- Two (2) years of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
