Overview
Gastro Center of Maryland is a 18 provider GI group practice which is seeking to add a great Nurse Practitioner to the team. The successful candidate would split their time between several locations (Columbia, Olney, & Bethesda). After two years of working with the group they would have the opportunity to practice independently.

Job Description
The APP will work with the physicians to:
- Assess patients independently and in collaboration with GI physician
- Perform history and physical assessment
- Order labs, interpret lab, order imaging, and follow up on all results
- Prescribe medications and manage medications specific to patient needs
- Create a plan of care utilizing care guidelines
Qualifications
- Approved Maryland State Medical License, Board Certification, Maryland CDS, and DEA certificate
- Prefer one year of Gastroenterology and/or outpatient practice
- Prefer bilingual candidates (in Spanish or Chinese)
