Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit
- Assist providers during exams and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Perform clinical tasks such as injections, blood draws, and specimen collection as permitted by scope of practice
- Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Coordinate patient care, including scheduling follow-up appointments and procedures
- Support prior authorizations, referrals, and insurance verification as needed
- Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure a clean and organized clinical environment
- Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients regarding care instructions and next steps
- Adhere to all compliance, safety, and HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure efficient clinic flow and high-quality patient care
- Travel occasionally to support clinic operations in Rawlins and Big Piney, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic and organizational needs

Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with GI or Pain Management preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Knowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check
