Role Description
This is an on-site role for a School Based Therapist located in Gastonia, NC. The School Based Therapist will provide therapy services to students, including assessment, treatment planning, individual and family therapy, and crisis intervention. The role involves collaborating with school personnel, families, and other professionals to support the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students. The therapist will also maintain detailed documentation and participate in case management activities to coordinate care effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management
- Expertise in Social Work and Psychology
- Experience providing Family Therapy services
- Must hold a valid therapist license in the state of North Carolina
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school-based environment
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required
- Experience in adolescent mental health care is a plus
- Applicant must hold a valid license (LCSW-A, LCMHC-A, etc.) in the state of North Carolina
