What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydro and Assembly Technician position at GasTech Engineering LLC?
GasTech Engineering LLC provides custom designed and fabricated process piping and pressure equipment within the oil and gas industry. Our equipment performs various processes to natural gas as well as other chemical compounds. Our product offering includes singular units such as pressure vessels, dehydrators, separators, process heaters, filters, as well as total process plant solution packages.
This position is a combination of general assembly and electrical assembly work. Qualified applicants will have previous experience with electrical assembly in a heavy manufacturing environment as well as a willingness to help in our general assembly area as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run and bend pneumatic control tubing with proficiency
- Fit up and assemble all piping spools, conduct hydro and pneumatic testing, and assemble vessel internals
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wire diagrams, P&IDs, and general assembly drawings accurately
- Perform point-to-point wiring of power and control wiring
- Assist with general assembly tasks as needed
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate punctuality and reliable attendance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electrical assembly within a heavy manufacturing setting
- Ability to work with precision and follow technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to support both electrical and general assembly areas
