Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and quality standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
• Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and balancing registers at shift end
• Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed
• Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks like food preparation, serving customers, and cleaning

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong understanding of food preparation and food safety management
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for retail sales transactions and cashiering
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
• Knowledge of sanitation standards, food handling procedures, and restaurant safety protocols
• Previous experience in culinary roles or café environments is highly desirable but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
