Job Summary
We are seeking a Production Technician to support the startup, operation, and maintenance of two ultra-high purity nitrogen production facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while meeting customer supply requirements.
Job Description
- Start up, monitor, and operate two ultra-high purity nitrogen plants (air separation units).

Adjust plant operating parameters using process control systems to meet production and customer demand requirements.

Perform routine operational and maintenance activities as part of an onsite operations team.

Respond to plant alarms and operational issues during assigned on-call periods, including nights and weekends.

Conduct daily plant inspections, record operational readings, and calibrate onsite gas analyzers.

Monitor and manage cryogenic liquid inventories to ensure uninterrupted customer supply.

Execute preventive maintenance tasks and complete work orders according to established schedules.

Maintain and troubleshoot compressors, piping systems, cooling water systems, and facility equipment.

Diagnose operational issues within cryogenic gas systems and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

Follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures and maintain a strong safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and company standards.
Skills Required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial operations, manufacturing, utilities, chemical processing, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace applications, and operator interface systems (HMIs).
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including P&IDs.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating air separation units, cryogenic systems, or industrial gas production equipment.
- Maintenance experience involving compressors, piping systems, or utility equipment.
- Knowledge of process control systems and industrial automation.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Pay Rate
- $23 - $25 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
