Job Summary
The Electrical Superintendent provides supervisory direction to craft workers and oversees the planning, scheduling, and execution of industrial electrical field operations. This role ensures safety, quality, production, code compliance, and schedule adherence while coordinating with superintendents, subcontractors, and project management.
Job Description
- Provide supervisory direction to craft workers and manage safety, quality, and production performance.
- Plan, schedule, and execute field operations in compliance with contract specifications, electrical codes, and quality procedures.
- Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to maintain workflow and schedule adherence.
- Develop schedules based on provided man-hours to support timely project completion.
- Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, escalating issues to project and corporate management as appropriate.
- Ensure project rules, procedures, and programs are consistently followed, including safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and meet productivity and deadline expectations.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others.
- Follow oral and written instructions, warning signs, equipment requirements, and applicable policies.
- Work normal operating hours, overtime, and weekends as required.
- Work at various locations and adapt to changing site conditions.
Skills Required
- 5 years of experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work.
- Foreman or General Foreman experience is encouraged; prior Superintendent experience is not required.
- Ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing work correctly the first time.
- Strong commitment to safety, ethics, and integrity.
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate a passion for excellence.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
- Ability to work safely and effectively under varying site conditions.
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and above

Salary : $59,126 - $94,654
