Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, with experience in manufacturing environments. This role involves interpreting blueprints and schematics, operating various fabrication tools, and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Duties
- Interpret and read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques to fabricate metal components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery including press brake machines and plasma cutters.
- Perform pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and rigging tasks as required.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in fabrication.
- Collaborate with team members to assemble fabricated parts into final products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Cut to spec and able to fit
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, welding, or related fields within manufacturing settings.
- Proficiency in MIG and FCAW welding techniques is essential; TIG welding experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with operating cranes and forklifts safely on construction sites.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
- Experience with soldering, machining, and using various hand tools is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
