Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Service vehicles by executing oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, wheel balancing, and brake repairs to ensure safety and performance.
- Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto electrical systems, auto body components, and heavy equipment mechanics as needed.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues effectively.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks for repairs, and ensure all work meets dealership or industry standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the maintenance process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, transmission repair, diesel engine repair, and suspension system repair.
- Familiarity with ADAS technology, auto electrical systems, oil change procedures, tire service, alignment services, and brake repair.
- Knowledge of schematics for vehicle electrical wiring and mechanical systems is essential.
- Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and other maintenance tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Valid automotive mechanic certification or equivalent technical training; ASE certification is a plus.

Pay: $10.00 - $33.52 per hour
