Quick Lube Technician

Gary Smith Honda in sunny Fort Walton Beach, FL is a family-owned and operated car dealership seeking a self-motivated, full-time Automotive Quick Lube Technician with express maintenance experience to join our team! Automotive Quick Lube Technician Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform oil and filter changes
• Tire repair, rotation and maintenance
• Perform light duty technician and maintenance repairs
• Communicate with service team on vehicle status
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
• Complete required ongoing training and development courses as designated by management
• Other duties as assigned

Automotive Quick Lube Technician Qualifications:

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-pace environment
• 1 years automotive express technician experience preferred
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission
• Excellent team-player
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including high humidity
• Professional in appearance and grooming
• No personal tools required to start
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include: background checks, MVR, and drug testing in order to qualify for employment

Schedule Requirements:

• Must be available to work four weekdays 7:30 am – 5:30 pm and every Saturday.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, reach above head, sit, stand, talk and hear. The employee must be able to see color and at close and far distances and is required to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift 75 lbs unassisted.
