Duties
- Assist carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other tradespeople with their tasks on remodeling sites
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing tools, and setting up equipment such as power tools and hand tools
- Support the installation of building materials including flooring, tile, cabinetry, trim carpentry
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to assist in precise material placement and project execution
Experience
- Prior construction or remodeling experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment operation
- Knowledge of building construction
- Experience with electrical or plumbing tasks is a plus but not required; training will be provided if needed
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately
