Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Florist Assistant to support our floral design team in daily operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about flowers, customer service, and maintaining a beautiful and organized workspace. This role involves assisting with floral arrangements, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring the shop remains stocked and well-presented.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating floral arrangements, bouquets, and centerpieces.
• Prepare flowers by cutting, watering, and conditioning them for longevity.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including the work area and display cases.
• Greet and assist customers with selecting floral arrangements and gifts.
• Process customer orders, including wrapping and packaging flowers.
• Handle cash register transactions and online order processing.
• Ensure flowers and supplies are stocked, fresh, and properly stored.
• Deliver floral arrangements when needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a floral shop or retail setting is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity in floral design.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of flowers, plants, and their care is an advantage.
• Comfortable working with hands, standing for extended periods, and lifting light to moderate weights.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license (if delivery duties are required).
