Gary Miller Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is looking for Sales Consultants to join our team in Erie, PA. This is an opportunity to build a rewarding career with an established dealership that has been serving the Erie community for decades and is part of the Miller Automotive Group, a six-dealership organization spanning Pennsylvania and Ohio.
We’re looking for salespeople who are comfortable building relationships both in person and online. Along with helping customers through the buying process, you must be willing to create walk-around videos, appear in dealership social media content, share inventory on Facebook and other platforms, and respond promptly to online inquiries.

What You'll Do:
As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for every customer while achieving individual and dealership sales goals.
You'll:
- Welcome customers and establish rapport in a professional, friendly manner
- Identify customer needs, preferences and budget
- Present new and pre-owned vehicles that match those needs
- Conduct engaging vehicle demonstrations and test drives
- Explain vehicle features, benefits and technology
- Build relationships with customers throughout the sales process
- Create walk-around videos, appear in dealership social media content, share inventory on Facebook and other platforms, and respond promptly to online inquiries.
- Follow up with prospects and previous customers to generate repeat and referral business
- Work closely with Sales Management and the Finance Department to complete transactions
- Maintain accurate customer information and follow dealership processes
- Stay current on product knowledge, incentives and dealership programs
- Deliver vehicles professionally and ensure customers understand their new vehicle
- Provide an outstanding experience that encourages customers to return for their next vehicle
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for people who are driven, personable and customer-focused.
- Automotive sales experience is preferred, but we are also interested in motivated candidates with strong sales, retail, hospitality, customer service or relationship-building experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, professional attitude
- Confidence speaking with customers
- Professional content creativity is not required, but must be comfortable on camera, willing to learn, and motivated to build your own customer following.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Motivation to achieve goals
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Ability to learn automotive products, technology and sales processes
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
