Dental Assistant. Full Time. Our Burke pediatric dental office is seeking a responsible, reliable, team player to join our clinical team in the back as a dental assistant. We are willing to train the right candidate who exhibits a knowledge to learn dental terminology and work with their hands to perform four handed dentistry. In this energetic role, you will support dentists in providing pediatric dental treatments, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a smooth workflow within the clinic. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures in pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Support infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment to prevent cross-contamination. Provide chairside assistance by managing patient comfort. Coordinate with the dental reception team to schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
Pay: $15.00 - $29.89 per hour
