Lawn Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our landscape and horticulture team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and experience with landscaping equipment and hand tools. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the beautification and health of residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to ensure healthy turf growth
• Maintain landscape features including planting, pruning, and tree care such as tree trimming and arboriculture tasks
• Assist with gardening tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, and other greenery
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety standards
• Support construction activities related to landscape improvements or installations

Experience

• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools is highly desirable
• Experience with tree care including trimming and horticulture practices is beneficial
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing techniques, and hardscape installation will be advantageous
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in outdoor environments

This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work. Candidates should be comfortable working in various weather conditions and possess the necessary skills to contribute effectively to our team’s success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
