Role Description
GARVEY WELLNESS CLINIC, INC is seeking a full-time or part-time Nurse Practitioner for an on-site position in Jackson, MS. The candidate will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, diagnosing and managing illnesses, prescribing medications, trigger point injections and providing preventive care. This role involves maintaining accurate patient records, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering health education to promote overall wellness. The Nurse Practitioner will play an essential role in ensuring patient satisfaction and optimal health outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, diagnosing, and developing care plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices, medical treatments, and preventive care
- Proficiency in documentation and maintaining accurate patient medical records
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Mississippi
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Trigger point injection experience
- Previous experience in a clinical or primary care setting is preferred
