Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS • Working-level experience performing routine food service work. • Knowledge of basic arithmetic, weights and measures; basic principles and methods of quantity food serving and storage; basic kitchen utensils and equipment; sanitation and personal hygiene. • Ability to plan and complete work in accordance with schedules; understand and carry out oral and written instructions. • Must successfully pass the Garvey School District Food Services Assistant written test. • Must successfully pass the application-screening phase. • Completion of a criminal records check will be required prior to beginning work.
TESTING Applicants who pass the application screening process will be notified and scheduled for a written test. Accommodation: Individuals with legally defined disabilities may request reasonable accommodations in the examination process. In order to make the request, please contact the Human Resources Office at the time of filing an application. Candidates may be required to supply documentation supporting the need for the accommodations when the request is made.
