Garvey Manor is seeking a Contract RN for our Nurse Aide Program.

A successful candidate MUST possess a current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania in good standing, have at least 2 (two) years working experience in a Long Term Care setting, and a certificate through Teach the Educator from PSU. Prior teaching experience is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and carrying out all responsibilities for full nurse aide instructional program.
• Teaching both clinical and classroom curriculum as required.
• Ensuring students remain on task and giving help and mentoring to students as needed to facilitate all students are successful.
• Scoring and grading tests and quizzes.

Each session will consist of a total of 100 hours of instructional time, plus any additional time needed to prepare for class.
