Job Function & Purpose: Get it Fixed. Use mechanical expertise to maintain, repair, and overhaul agricultural equipment and implements.
Qualifications:
o Knowledge of equipment, implements, and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
o Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
o Arm-Hand Steadiness, Manual Dexterity, and Coordination
o Ability to understand customer problems and needs
o Strong attention to detail
Responsibility: As a service technician, you are responsible for:
1. REPAIRING AND MAINTAINING MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT: Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and other mechanical agricultural equipment and implements.
2. OPERATING VEHICLES, MECHANIZED DEVICES, OR EQUIPMENT: Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts and tractors.
3. MAKING REPAIRS AND SOLVING PROBLEMS: Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
4. UPDATING AND USING RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE: Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
Working Conditions:
o Heat factors in summer months
o Requires some outdoor activity
o May be Exposed to Contaminants, pollutants, and gases
o Sound levels may be loud due to drills and machinery
COMPENSATION – FLSA Standard is Non-Exempt
- Hourly Wage: DOE $33.00 to $50.00/hour
