About the role :

As a Senior System Engineer, you will design, integrate, and manage complex systems over their life cycle. You’ll ensure all parts of a system work together efficiently to meet user needs and technical requirements.

What you will do:

• Implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure on Cloud Platforms via automation tools like Jenkins, Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Python to improve system efficiency and reduce manual tasks.

• Perform Linux administration tasks, system updates through AWS SSM, Azure Update Manager and RedHat Satellite server, vulnerability management.

• Administration and maintenance of Ansible Automation Platform.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across the development and production environments.

• Collaborate with development and application support teams to ensure smooth operation of applications.

• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve infrastructure and deployment processes.

• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.

• Optimize system resource utilization and capacity planning.

• Perform on call rotation.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology with 8 yrs of experience. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Must have

• Expertise in Linux System Administration.

• Expertise in Ansible Automation Platform.

• Expertise in Python, Ansible and shell scripting.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 86,000 USD - 118,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
