Duties
- Lead and supervise installation teams, providing clear direction, training, and support to ensure high performance and safety compliance.
- Coordinate project schedules, materials, and resources to optimize workflow and meet deadlines.
- Inspect work sites regularly to ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with project manager, clients, and subcontractors to clarify project specifications and resolve issues promptly.
- Oversee the proper use of tools and equipment, ensuring maintenance and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Document progress through detailed reports, photos, and logs to track project milestones and address any discrepancies immediately.
- Ensure all installations are completed accurately according to plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction installation or a related field, with a strong track record of leading teams on complex projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, safety standards (such as OSHA regulations), and building codes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and stakeholders clearly and professionally.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, technical drawings, or schematics is highly desirable.
- Prior experience installing drywall, flooring, and general carpentry like trim, doors and windows is a plus. Pay: $33.00 - $55.00 per hour
