What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customs Associate position at Garrison?
UNPOSTED – Customs Associate/Counsel for Leading Practice (DC/NY/Remote)
Attention law firm and in-house lawyers with customs expertise. We are working closely with leadership for this market-leading practice. Due to ever-increasing growth and demand, the group is looking to add a Counsel or Senior Associate. Practice mix will include (i) tariff mitigation, (ii) supply chain diligence and UFLPA compliance, and (iii) CBP-facing investigations, enforcement and audits. Opportunity to do other sanctions and export controls work, if desired.

Requirements:
- 5 years of experience with substantial experience in customs
- JD from a Top 25 law school and strong academics (honors if outside the Top 25)
- Prior law firm experience required; will consider attorneys currently in-house if prior law firm experience
- Preference for sitting in DC or New York; open to remote for the right candidate
