Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Construction Worker role based in Sacramento, CA, with some work-from-home tasks such as planning, coordination, and reporting. On-site, the Construction Worker will assist with general construction activities, including site preparation, loading and unloading materials, operating basic tools and equipment, and supporting skilled trades. Daily tasks include helping with masonry, flooring installation, renovation work, and cleanup to maintain a safe and organized job site. The role involves following project plans and instructions from supervisors, adhering to safety guidelines, and documenting work completed. When working from home, the Construction Worker may help with basic project research, reviewing work orders, and preparing simple reports or updates.
Qualifications
- Practical construction skills, including experience in general Construction and Renovation work.
- Hands-on trade abilities such as Masonry and Flooring installation or repair.
- Ability to perform basic Research related to materials, methods, and safety practices.
- Knowledge of and commitment to job site safety, including proper use of tools and personal protective equipment.
- Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team on active job sites.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior construction or trade experience is an advantage but not always required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach job sites in and around Sacramento, CA.
