Garrett Tires and Treads is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Route Salesman. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing relationships with existing and potential fleet customers within an assigned territory. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue growth, improving profitability, and providing exceptional service to our clients. This position offers an opportunity for growth.
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers to optimize service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop a technical understanding of the retread process and new tire application specific treads.
- Plan and prioritize personal sales and service activities to achieve the agreed-upon sales plan developed by the sales manager.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
- Communicate activities with the sales and service managers to ensure all customer demands, including billing requirements, are met.
- Maintain accurate and current records of customer requirements.
- Create and review weekly sales route schedules as required.
- Perform specially assigned tasks by the sales managers
Experience:
- Prefer at least one year of experience within the tire industry.
