Job Requirements:
· 2 years experience in a financial institution or associate degree
· Excellent written and verbal skills
· Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
Specific Job Functions:
- Balance vault, teller drawer, and ATM
- Maintains knowledge of branch policies and procedures with respect to approving checks and overrides
- Maintain Monthly reporting of Teller Overs/Shorts bank wide
- Participates in activities for generating new business such as sales calls and special events
- Answer phones-direct call to the appropriate staff according to customer needs and take message as needed
- Processes teller work as necessary
- Provides a complete range of customer services, including opening new accounts and selling services, explaining available financial institution products and services, and gathering customer information to process accounts including IRA’s, certificates, and business accounts
- Prepares paperwork and assists customers in the signing of documents
- Answers customer inquiries and assists customers with other account issues
- Assists tellers in locating discrepancies
- Performs a variety of customer service activities, such as account holds. Stop-payment orders, wire transfers and check confirmation
- Scheduling Office ~ tellers
- Supervise tellers while Branch Manager is out of the office
- Assists in maintaining a professional business
- Assist in other areas of the financial institution as needed
