Assistant Branch Manager – Pine Valley Office

Reports: SVP of Retail
Job Requirements:
· Associates degree and two years of banking experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to problem solve within established policies and procedures
· Ability to recognize clues for sales opportunities and identify unexpressed needs, provides clients with basic financial planning advice
Specific Job Functions:
· Responsible for making monthly sales calls, as set by the Senior Retail Officer, to grow branch deposit portfolio
· Maintains involvement in the community through various local events as they occur, during and after bank hours with at least 2 per month
· Works with SVP of Retail in tracking competition & making recommendations regarding changes to product design and pricing
· Provides a complete range of customer services, including opening new accounts and selling services, explaining available financial institution products and services, and gathering customer information to process accounts including IRA’s, certificates, and business accounts
· Open new accounts and cross sell products and services in absence of CSR
· Assist with maintaining a highly motivated, well-trained staff along with maintaining effective employee relations
· Assist with ensuring bank’s policies and procedures are adhered to and to inform staff of any changes
· Resolve customer problems that require a management-level decision
· Assist with the managing of the security and safety of the branch and adhere to security and safety policies and procedures
· Ensure that the opening and closing procedures and end of day balancing of branch are completed
· Assists in evaluating frontline staff with Branch Manager
· Coordinates staff training when needed
